As one of the most transformative trends of modern history, urbanization has significant impact on the makeup and framework of our society. There are inherent health consequences of our built environment, and we exist within the results of political and social trajectories. There is something about our environment that is changing our health, and I am seeking to explore these causes and implications by use of ethnographic study. Health entities have an opportunity to work with communities to address issues at the core, truly harnessing collaborative care and population health strategies.
